This abandoned barn in Douglas County, Oregon served its purpose for many years. Ina took a slide of the barn while visiting in the area. The painting was completed in early 1962 on a 22 x 28 canvas board. She signed it in the lower left with the date "62." It appeared in four shows and sold at the City of Paris Gallery in San Francisco in October 1964 to Ed Willig, of Willig Freight Lines. He died shortly afterward, and his widow died in October 1993. The painting was inherited by Mrs. Willig’s niece, Ms. Verta Driver, in Seattle, Washington. The current owner purchased the painting from Ms. Driver.
